And she's driving!
Yep, Erin is behind the wheel now....learners permit. She has had it since August but was afraid to drive. She is taking drivers ed. She has been to the classroom part but not behind the wheel. She has been practicing a lot and is doing really well. She drove to my mom's today. And I was going to go get her and let her drive to church tonight but Bobby wanted to. I guess he wants to see how well she is doing....since it is his car she is driving. (mine is a stick shift and she isn't ready for that yet). My free month membership at Curve's has run out so now I will have to become an official member. I've been going four times a week. I guess I will have to be weighed and measured...not looking forward to that. But I'm ready to see some results. I filed my taxes this weekend and should have a nice healthy deposit in my checking account by Feb 10...woohoo!!!!Well, gonna keep this short because I still haven't gotten a new keyboard and cutting and pasting to get a k is still a huge pain in the butt! Later!

Move over Tony!

Yep....I have two new men in my life. The first would be Kiefer Sutherland. OMGosh!! Have y'all been watching 24??? That is the most awesome show. It is in its 5th season and I haven't missed a minute of it. Jack Bauer is such a bad ass!! Have y'all seen the Friends episode where they have a "list" of celebrities that if they ever meet, it is kinda of a free pass? Well, I've added Kiefer to my list!

And then there is Chris Cornell....lead singer of Audioslave (former lead singer of Soundgarden). I saw Audioslave in concert at the Tabernacle in Atlanta....very small place and it was awesome. I swear, the made eye contact with me. And to listen to him sing through ear buds, omgosh it is like he is singing just to you....so hot! And he really puts himself into his music. You can tell he really feels it. (yep, we have two DVD's of them!)
BTW....Tony, Kiefer or Chris, if you ever run across my blog (hahahaha)and read this....drop me an email!!Okay....I'm done for now! Anyone else have a "list"? LOL

no kids, hubby napping.....
How nice....I have some time! I'm sure I should be cleaning my house.....but you gotta have priorities! I do have a load of towels in the dryer! LOL It has been a busy time lately. I feel like I have no time for myself. I have been going to Curves 4 days a week. I've been enjoying but haven't noticed much difference yet. I'll have to weigh and measure again in about 1 1/2 weeks but I'm not gonna give up. My k still isn't woring so I'm cut and pasting to make it work. What a pain! Should have thought about a new eyboard while I was at Walmart. My uncle is here from England so that has cut into my time. We have finally moved into our new office and it is gorgeous!! It took quite a while to get all settled....get the computers woring and the phones woring and to get situated. There are still several offices that haven't moved in yet. We will have a restaraunt but it hasn't opened yet. I'm loving my new space. It is so nice and quiet. Still don't have the overhead bins for my cubicle so I can't unpack all the way yet and I'm waiting impatiently because I can't really get "settled" yet. I'll take some pics once I am. Also, they haven't gotten the blinds in yet for our window which is really difficult during about three hours of the day. So we have a sheet hung up right now. Talk about trailer park! LOL We have threatened pink flamingos outside the window if they don't hurry up! Anyways, I'm sure I have more to say but this cutting and pasting for a k is getting tedious....so thats all for now!

Happy 2006!
Well, we saw the New Year in. Erin went to party at a friend's house. Bobby and Claire took a nap and then woke up to see the new year in. We had confetti poppers and sparkling cider in our crystal wine glasses. It sure was hard dragging by tired self out of bed for church this morning....but I did it! I heard somewhere that it is bad luck to take out trash or wash dishes on the first day of the year.....works for me! LOL But I get Monday off so that will give me time. Not much on resolutions but I'm gonna try really hard to go to Curves at least three days a week!
