Okay, I'll try this again. I wrote a really nice post last Sunday about Youth Sunday at my church but the stupid computer lost it. Anyways, it was really nice. The youth were in charge of the whole service. The youth band played two songs...one they wrote theirselves. They wanted to do an interpretive dance but didn't know how to start. Well, a friend that I work with choreographs for the dance team at her church so she came and worked with the kids. They danced to Who Am I by Casting Crowns. Let me tell you, it was so powerful. There were so many people in the church in tears. We had one guy dance with them and he represented Jesus in the song and did an awesome job. I think the kids were shocked at how the dance touched everyone. I was so proud of them!! Then we had a pool party after church as the end of the year blast. We take the summer off of youth group. That was nice too.
My mom left for England Monday and will be gone for three weeks. :( Those will be three of the longest weeks! The girls are out of school now for the summer. Erin had her prom Wednesday night...no date, just went with friends. I'll see if I can find a pic of her.
And now it is the long Memorial Day weekend! WOOHOO! I will be alternating between cleaning and relaxing....guess which one is winning at the minute! LOL It is way too hot....about 90 degrees and my parents pool isn't ready. The liner came loose and has to be fixed so it will be another couple of weeks. What the heck?? It is way too hot for that!! Oh, and my brother busted another pervert internet predator. This guy actually went as far as to meet what he thought was a 12 year old girl (he was 51). Needless to say, my big brother was waiting there for him! So watch you perverts....you're gonna busted!!!

Erin is the one in the red. :)

Online chat leads to charges in Aiken
RACHEL E. LEONARD, Staff Writer
A former Aiken County prosecutor charged Friday with criminal solicitation of a minor has been released from jail after posting a $25,000 surety bond.
Spartanburg County sheriff's deputies arrested Anthony Clark Odom, 32, of Aiken at 1:30 a.m. Friday at his home. Odom is accused of engaging in sexually oriented online chats with a person he
thought was a 13-year-old girl from Boiling Springs, but in reality was a Spartanburg County deputy.
Spartanburg County Magistrate Judge James Ashmore set Odom's bond and conditions of release Friday afternoon at the jailhouse courtroom. Odom is not to leave the state, communicate with minors under age 18 without the presence of the child's parent or guardian and not have home Internet access.
Odom was employed as an assistant solicitor in state's 2nd Circuit Solicitor's Office, which covers Aiken, Barnwell and Bamberg counties, from September 2002 to July 2005. He then went into private practice and was hired by the city of Aiken as a part-time deputy solicitor to prosecute some driving-while-impaired cases.
Aiken City Solicitor Richard Pearce said Friday afternoon that Odom has already tendered his resignation.
"I think we're all just trying to process what's happened here," Pearce said.
In a public statement, 2nd Circuit Solicitor Barbara Morgan said she knew little about the details of the allegations against Odom but was "shocked and saddened" by the arrest.
'Graphic' conversations
Spartanburg attorney Andrew Johnston, who had been retained to represent Odom for the hearing, declined to comment on the case. Odom's wife attended the hearing, covering her face with her hands and holding a friend's hand as Assistant Attorney General David Stumbo outlined the state's case.
Odom began chatting with the "girl" via a Yahoo! Web site on March 21, Stumbo said. The sessions continued until earlier this month.
"Many of those chats, if not all of them, involved sexual solicitation, talking about very graphic sexual things," Stumbo said.
Odom said nothing during the hearing except for polite answers to the judge's questions. After bond was set, he thanked the judge before being escorted from the courtroom.
On Friday morning, the State Law Enforcement Division and Aiken Public Safety Department searched Odom's home and seized a computer and computer-related items. Those agencies and the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office are three of 15 agencies participating in the S.C. Attorney General's Internet Crimes against Children Task Force, Stumbo said.
Odom's arrest is the 20th since targeted enforcement began just over a year ago. Other task force arrests this year include men from Spartanburg, Union and Greer.
The men come from all walks of life, said Spartanburg County investigator Lindsey McGraw.
"This crosses all segments of society," he said. "You never know who you're talking to."
Odom's license to practice law might be placed on interim suspension before a trial takes place. If convicted, he could face up to 10 years in prison.
The S.C. Attorney General's Office will prosecute the case.

Attn: tanning bed users
It is once again that time of year....the tanning beds are busy as can be. I have nothing against tanning beds. I am a very white girl who does not tan well. BUT I have to say, that enough is enough. It is okay to use them to get a base tan but when you overuse them, you just look ridiculous!!! There are several girls at work who soooo overuse them. It looks so fake and makes them look like they are dirty. It makes you want to say ENOUGH ALREADY!!! You look like a fool and everyone knows it is fake!!!! Can you tell this is a pet peeve?? I think some people over do it because the tanning bed places over unlimited visits for a certain amount a month. I can't tell you how many times I have had to bite my tongue from telling people....dont' you think you are tan enough???
I spent way too many hours at Steinmart today. My MIL got me a gift card for my birthday there. That is so not my kind of store. I tried and tried and tried to find something that I liked....never could. Finally bought two bras and a pair of underwear....woohoo! LOL Now I am totally worn out.
Wow.....two posts in two days....don't want to overload anyone!! LOL

20 red roses
Yep, I got 20 red roses this week....for 20 years of marriage. They were so beautiful!! Well, actually I got 19 roses. Called Bobby and asked him "now how many years have we been married??" Of course, he knew. The florists messed up so he called them and they brought me two more roses. I put one in with the rest of them and the other one by itself. They are just gorgeous!!
I have to brag on my big brother. He completed the police academy a few months ago...with honors...he got the Strom Thurmond award. Anyways, he is working with the Sheriff's office as a computer crimes specialist. Well, he got his first arrest today. He arrested a former assistant solicitor from Aiken (SC) who is a private practice attorney now. What for you ask?? Soliciting sex from a 13 year old girl over the internet.....BUT that was no 13 year old girl....that was my brother!! Go bro!! Kick some ass and get those perverts and pedophiles into jail where they belong! Don't know how he learned to talk like a 13 year old girl but now I've got the sister I never had! Bahahaha!!
And what is up with American Idol???? I'm sorry but that show is soooo fixed!! There is no way Chris should have been voted off. And I'm not one of those who just sit back and watch....I actually vote!! (Yeah, I'm a dork!) But I was totally shocked...as he was. But maybe it is for the best. Now he is not locked in with a contract with American Idol. He needs to be the front man for a band....I hear Creed needs a new front man. He would totally take them to the top of the charts and have them rocking!!
Oh, my mom is picking up her new car tomorrow. She is getting a Mini Cooper. She ordered it specially and is having it shipped from England (she is English). She is going to have the English flag on the roof and mirrors. It is chili pepper red and is going to be so cute. She is keeping her other car though because the Cooper is so small and she will need a bigger car at times. Actually, my dad wrecked her other car. She had a really nice Chrysler Concorde...fully loaded, leather seats, etc....and it was paid for! A couple of weeks ago (right after she ordered the Cooper), someone pulled out in front of him and totalled it. But she was able to buy a used Chrysler (not near as nice) with the insurance money so she still has a larger car when she needs it. She is leaving for England in two weeks...will be gone for three weeks. I offered to drive the Mini for her while she was gone so Dad wouldn't drive it but she wasn't going for it! Hmph!!
Anyways, I hope you all have a wonderful, wonderful Mother's Day and get lots of pampering. I hope this post doesn't show up twice because I lost my last one because of stupid pop up ads! Argh!
