overwhelmed
Gosh, I have spent all day today washing, folding, sorting and boxing up Claire's clothes for the yard sale. It is totally overwhelming. Most of her clothes are sets and (of course) didn't get washed in the same load. Right now, I have about three boxes full, a load in the dryer and a load in the washer. Those are just HER clothes. I think I might take some of her nicer dresses to a consignment shop. Has anyone ever used one? Anyways, I have set a date for the yard sale....November 12. I had signed up for vacation days that Thursday and Friday for the loopie trip...but we had to postpone it. Since I already had those days off, I decided to keep them to prepare for yard sale. I hate having yard sales. But it is a good way to get rid of stuff you don't need and make money while you are at it. I'm gonna get Claire to get some toys together too and then she can keep the money she makes. The main problem is where to store the stuff until the big day. We play handbells in church tomorrow and I am so not comfortable with the songs. Oh well, people don't usually notice when you mess up. We are going to play Amazing Grace (which really doesn't sound like the song when we play it) but the youth are going to sing a verse of it too so that should be nice. Well, off to fold and sort more clothes. Ugh! Later!

What you already had days off? Let's go then!! Postpone the yard sale.
Yes, I have used a consign shop but I had a bad experience. I sold one thing, but never got the money, they closed their doors and moved. Bummer! I'm sure people are more honest where you live though.
angie, have the yard sale early and lets go!! come on.....it will be great..
