What a week!
I have to say that I am finally glad VBS is over! Working all day and then heading straight to church everyday makes for a long week. We started Sunday and went thru Friday (5 to 8 everynight). I was with the K-5 and 1st grade. As the week went on, the less they wanted to behave! LOL We had the program Friday night (which wasn't very smooth, but it was cute) and then BBQ and a blue grass band. The BBQ was excellent!! We met our new pastor. And he seems like a really nice guy. I'm so happy to have him! I probably won't be on much for the next two weeks. We have handbell practice everyday and then leave Wednesday for Orlando. We get back sometime late Monday night (driving the whole day). Then Tuesday, we are heading to Walterboro for a few days. Mitch's birthday (our friend that died) is on June 29 and we need to be there with his wife. She is still having a hard time. They are real thrilled at work that I'm taking a week and a half off. I usually try not to take time off at month end as that is my busiest time. They said they wouldn't let just anybody off but since I was so dedicated and always there, blah blah blah, they would make an exception. (whatever! it isn't like I don't have the time to take). I told them they had every right to tell me I couldn't take it off but of course they said I could have it off. Anyways, I probably won't be back on for a while....so blogger patrol.....please let me slide!!

working?
Okay....I'm being a bad girl. I'm at work and the bosses aren't here.....so..... Well, I had my yearly evaluation and it went really well....didn't really expect not to. They rate you on a scale of 1 to 4 in different areas, with 4 being the best. I got all 4's and my overall was a 4 which it says on the evaluation form "outstanding performance that clearly exceeds expectations of the position. an innovator who raises the standards of performance." yeah, whatever! haha. I guess when you've been working somewhere for 16 years, you kinda know what you are doing. But it is nice to be told once in a while that you are appreciated and they don't worry because they know you will be doing your job and don't feel like they have to check up on you. I mainly try to sit here and do my job and mind my own business. Plus I got a nice sized bonus and a nominal raise. (I never expect much of a raise but always look forward to the bonus). So my attitude is better today! :) Oh and let me tell you something else. For about the past month, before we start the work day, a group of us gets together and has a prayer. It is really a great way to start the day and it helps (sorry had to minimize, doc walked up). Anyways, we are switching over to electronic medical records and it has not been easy. Everyone was frustrated and irritated so that is when the prayer meetings started.....and now we have just continued to have them. Okay....better go work before I get busted!

loopie flashback!
Hey guys.....loopie flashback here. Do you all remember Kelli.....the one who started the loop? Wasn't her daughter's name Chandler? Remember I met her IRL here in Spartanburg when she entered Chandler in a baby contest? I'm pretty sure their last name was London. Well, today in the Hamrick's sale paper, Chandler's picture was in there. She had won a regional modeling contest for them. I guess she is about 5 now. Pretty little girl. I wonder if she has been entering her in beauty/modeling contests all this time? Anyways, I thought it was interesting and thought I would share!

not much to blog
Well.....Guess Kim has been at work on my blog again....yep that is Tony Stewart! LOL Love it Kim!!! Things have been pretty boring around here. Working, working, working. We have started handbell practice three days a week (which I totally love). The music is REALLY hard but we'll get it. I'm really looking forward to the trip. Work has been busy as ever. Did I post about Employee Appreciation Day? I got a $100 gift certificate for A-Deva-A-Day spa....so here I come for a massage. Probably after Orlando though. Just passed my 16th anniversary at my job. Should be getting a nice bonus on the next paycheck. And I need it to pay for Orlando. I guess when we get back from there, we will be heading to Walterboro because Mitch's birthday is June 29 so we will spend some time with Judy. That is gonna be a looong time off of work. I can't imagine the workload I'll have to come back to. My job doesn't really get done while I'm gone so sometimes it doesn't seem worth taking a vacation. Oh well. Erin is at the beach right now with a friend from church. Me and Claire went to the pool today after handbell practice but the water was soooo cold.....70 degrees. I floated around on a float soaking up some rays. And now here we are on the computer. Told you it was boring!
