sorry sorry sorry!
Sorry I haven't been posting reguarly lately. There just hasn't seem to be enough time to do everything. With all the sickness running through the family and then Christmas coming up, I ran out of time. Seems like Christmas really snuck up on me....again. We had a nice one. We were supposed to eat at the inlaws at 2pm but it ended up being 4pm.....then we had to be at my mom's by 6pm. Talk about being STUFFED!!! We got Bobby to go to the Christmas Eve service with us. He wasn't too happy about it but he went....so maybe hopefully, he will feel the spirit and start going again. I finally got an MP3 player and I'm loving it. Erin got an Ipod and she was thrilled. I started Curves this week. So far so good.....for exercise. If I get results, then I will definitely keep it up. It isnt that hard. By the time you think you are about worn it, you change machines and it is fine. I'll let you know my progress! and we are getting ready for the BIG MOVE!! We moved to our new office next Friday (Jan.6) and I can't wait!! It is going to be gorgeous. I'll definitely have to get some pics. The main lobby of the complex has a waterfall in it. I can't wait to get to a nice new building with my own little quiet spot to work in. Right now is the hard stuff.....packing up. I tell you, we are definitely keeping the Shred First people in some major business. They leave about four bins and we feel them to overflowing in one day. Been in the same office for 20+ years so you accumulate a lot of stuff. And we had an attic so that was a lot of cleaning. But it will be soooo worth it!! Okay....off to catch up on blogs! BTW....there is entirely TOO much college football on this week!

what a mess!
Wow, this ice storm has really wreaked some havoc on the Upstate. Soooo many people still don't have power. My parents, my inlaws, my brother, and hardly anyone I work with has power. I feel kinda guilty. The kids are driving me crazy and we HAVE power. I can't imagine no power, no TV, no cooking....yikes! My parents and my inlaws both have gas logs and cook with gas so they are doing okay. My mom has been unloading her freezer...giving stuff to us and having us store stuff. We are so fortunate! Power went out on Thursday and it may be Tuesday before they get it back. I went to work for about 3 hours on Friday. Our office didnt have power but our sattelite office did....but they didn't have computers because the computer servers are at the main office. So they moved them to the satellite office so we could see some patients. I think the power is back on at our office now. The phones don't work when the power is out and I am able to get through on the phone now so hopefully back to work on Monday. Erin missed her last exam...she will take it after the Christmas holidays. Claire and her classmates worked so hard on a Christmas program that we didn't even get to see because of the weather. :( Now Claire has pink eye so she may not get to participate in the church Christmas play tomorrow night. We will at least go watch it. (and since so many places are without power, the doctor just called in a prescription for eyedrops instead of making us come in.) I can't believe it is almost Christmas. I have soooo much shopping to do. Bobby gets paid Weds and I get paid Thurs so I plan on doing some night time shopping (hopefully miss some crowds). I pretty much know everything I need to get so I can have a game plan. For Bobbys brother, we went and had a family portrait made. They have everyting in the world so Bobby wanted to get that for them and put it in a nice frame. He didn't want to give any to the rest of the family but you know how well that would go over! We will give them to them after Christmas. I let Bobby pick the pose we used. I liked some of the others better but since it was for his brother..... And we get some Christmas cards with them....but they won't be ready until December 23! LOL So......you'll be getting them a little late! Sorry! Okay....off to try some more cleaning!

How cute is this?
This was taken last Wednesday night at church. All four girls showed up in the same outfit and it was totally not planned. Claire is the 2nd from the left. It was the funniest thing! Now, if it had been four women showing up like that, we would have been mortified. Oh, to be a child again! LOL
Anyways....no work or school today!! We had an "ice storm". All the trees and power lines and everything is covered in ice. Not sure about the roads. I haven't been out. I can't believe they closed our office but I guess they figured it just wasn't worth it since it isn't supposed to warm up much today and is still raining/sleeting. My parents lost power about 8am. Fingers crossed we don't but at least we would still be warm....gas heat. Today was supposed to be Erin's last exam...now she'll have to go tomorrow. Claire's Christmas party was supposed to be today too. They have the Christmas program tomorrow morning and then are out until after the new year.
I've had some kind of stomach virus thing for about the past week and a half and it sucks! I think I'm FINALLY getting over it. I missed the extended family Christmas because of it....which, coincidentally, was in Columbia....the same exit you take to get to Gina's house!!! Not too upset about missing the get together but I might could have popped in and said hey to Gina. Claire went to it with my parents and seemed to have a good time. This past weekend was our office Christmas party at the Carolina Country Club. It was okay. I only went because Santa would be there for the kids. Claire sat in this lap!! Erin didn't so didn't get her gift because we left when Claire was done. But it is on its way. Probably a gift certificate to the mall. Sunday night we had a little party for the youth one of the parents houses. It was fun. They had one of those little fire pit thingys. Plus in their basement, they had pool table, hockey table, ping pong table, and darts. Cool place for a party! This Sunday night is the Christmas play (Claire) at church and the youth program (Erin). I still have a good bit of shopping to do but have to wait for payday next week....ugh, it is gonna be so crowded everywhere. Think I'll go late at night. Okay, I'm sure I've bored you all enough for now. I'm sure there is more but don't want anybody to overdose on me! LOL
