You guys were right!! Its my turn!! I got me a new(Used)car...new to me! It is a 2002 Honda CRV and I totally love it!! (yeah, it is similar to Erins and same color). We got it from the Honda dealership and a warranty on it for 3 years. I have to take it to the dealership on Monday. They have to fix the gas gauge, a couple of dings in it and the center console (which Bobby broke LOL) We tried a 2003 but they are exactly the same and that one made some kind of funny noise. I am so happy!! Although I still kinda miss my little Toyota. Other than the fact that windows didn't work, it needed new struts and the blinker didn't work, it ran good. I think I'll get over it though! LOL Well, I gotta run. Youth group tonight and I have to do supper for them and then take them to a youth rally. Oh get this, Erin is playing the bass guitar in the youth band! She has never played one before. Our youth worker (college student) is helping her and he says she is doing good. They are playing at the rally tonight. Can't wait to see that!

Well, we got Erin a car....a 99 Isuzu Rodeo and is NICE!! I wish we had gotten it for me instead of her! The sacrifices we make as parents! LOL It is super nice. She drove a GMC Jimmy and she liked it. Took it over to my brother to look at and he found all kinds of problems with it....lots of rust and oil pressure was low which meant the engine would have to be rebuilt. So we went and got the Rodeo and took it to him and he couldn't find anything wrong with it! She is too nervous to be too excited about it. We put a deposit on it and will pick it up on Monday. She is afraid someone is going to offer him more money and he will sell it to them. Told her that he wouldn't do that but she still worries. Now, I'm the only one left driving a piece of crap car! Argh....I'm so jealous!! And I'm getting excited about this loopie vacation.....we need to get some details down!!

Okay,I'm back! Things have been kinda busy here. First off, we thouroughly enjoyed the Godsmack/Shinedown/Rob Zombie concert. It rained like hell though. We were totally covered in mud by the time it was over. But we were well prepared...rain ponchos etc. It rained the whole time Shinedown played, then it quit during Rob Zombie, then it rained a lot before Godsmack came on and then it stopped. Of course, we were right beside all the action...mudslide, mud wrestling, mosh pit. I wore my Crocs so all I had to do was hose them down! The concert was on Thursday and I took Friday off. Bobby woke me up at 8:30 after getting to bed at 3am and we CLEANED house!! Majorly!! Friday, we took two loads to the dump and Saturday, we must have taken about five loads. Even put Erin and Claire to work in their room. Ah...it feels good. Why all this work you ask? Well, we decided to refinance our home. We have been paying on it for 18 years and have never refinanced so we had a lot of equity in it. We are refinancing for 15 years (only 3 years longer than we had left) and they are giving us this obscene amount of money to pay off bills and do some renovations!! I am so excited!! It will be so nice to have our bills under control. First major thing we are gonna do is redo our bathroom. It needs a new floor....and I mean all the way...the underneath and everything. We have one of those claw tubs and we are gonna get rid of it and get a regular tub and shower doors, new walls, etc. We went window shopping at Home Depot today and picked some stuff out. Then we are going to have the wiring checked in our home and have new ceiling fans put up in our room, the girls room and the living room. I want to have our hardwood floors sanded and redone but we'll have to see how much is left after the bathroom. I want new windows too but that can wait a while. We figure we'll be living here from now on so we should do the improvements while we have the money. It will be worth it. We are also going to see if we can find Erin a nice (but inexpensive) used car...nothing fancy. Then once we are settled with all of that, I'm gonna get a new car. I have my eyes on a Dodge Charger....ohhhhh, I want one so bad!! I can't tell you how excited I am about all of this!! We closed on it Friday and pick up our check Wednesday. So....about the loopie trip!!! When and where? I think I can make it now! Maybe I'll even be driving a new car by then.... I need some details please!!!! LOL
