And the 2005 Nascar Nextel Cup Champion is.....

Tony Stewart!!! YEAH!! My man pulled it off....and by 35 points. Made me so happy! Anyways, its been a while since I've blogged. The weekend before last we had a yard sale (fun fun <~~~being sarcastic). They sure are a lot of work but we had fun during the actual yard sale. I made about $150 which wasn't too bad. The best thing was one of the girls is a "professional yard saler". On any given day, she will open her garage doors and have a sale. So she took home EVERYTHING we didn't sell! YAY!! My objective was to come home with nothing. Although I did come home with a big bag of books but they were all ones I haven't read so that doesn't count.

This past weekend, we went to Walterboro to visit Judy and Emmy. Me and Claire enjoyed it (Erin didn't go). We had a campfire every night and watched the Clemson Carolina game. (they are Carolina fans). Unfortunately, Bobby got a stomach virus while we there. Got sick Friday in the middle of the night and spent the rest of the time in bed until it was time to go home. Then Claire had it Sunday night when we got home. She didn't go to school at all this week but it was only a two day week so that was okay. So far, I haven't gotten it....knock on wood. I just knew I would have it for Thanksgiving. I had to stay home with Claire Monday because Bobby was still too sick to keep her, my mom keeps my neice's baby and I didn't want to expose her to it, and my MIL....well, she didn't want to get sick. That kinda peeved me off....ended up missing a day of work but whatever.

I am stuffed. Just finished Thanksgiving dinner....yummy! My favorite holiday. We are at my parents year. Usually have to go the inlaws but they went to Virginia so we were off the hook. I thought I would pop in here and update while I'm trying to make room for pumpkin pie. Bobby went home to take a nap....just left us here! LOL
Anyways, I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving. I am so thankful for my family, my wonderful friends, my home, my church....and too many things to mention. I am truly blessed. Love to all of you and your families!!!!!!

Okay...so it wasn't THAT bad

Took Erin and two of her friends from church to see All American Rejects at the Tabernacle in Atlanta this weekend. I was really dreading it...mainly the Atlanta traffic. The girls were sooooo excited. I think I heard every AAR's song at least three or four times on the ride. The Atlanta traffic wasn't near as bad as I was expecting. (other than three girls changing clothes and putting on makeup in the car while driving through it!) We drove straight to the Tabernacle and got an awesome parking spot (even though it did cost $10). Seats in the balcony so I didn't have to stand the whole time. All in all, the concert was pretty good. I actually enjoyed it....wouldn't call myself a fan though. I don't think you can see a bad concert at the Tabernacle. It is the most awesome place. By the time I got home Saturday, I had a massive headache so had to go to bed. That pretty much screwed up my whole weekend....I got nothing accomplished. But at least Erin had a good time. I was glad because I felt so sorry for her during the Coldplay concert.

Halloween was fun. I have to get pictures uploaded (have to add the software back to my computer...so not today). One of Claire's friends from school came and went trick or treating with her. I wasn't too sure about that because we are SO not like the other parents she goes to school with. We warned her mom that we lived in a mill village, lived paycheck to paycheck and it definitely wasn't a fancy house. She was okay with that....said she lived with her parents so she lived in reality. LOL Anyways, they seemed to enjoy themselves. Had lots of little ones (and not so little ones) coming to the door.

Well, gotta try to do something to this mess of a house. I'm off Thursday and Friday so I plan on getting some major cleaning done!!!!!!!!!!
