Okay...it's been a while so this may be long. I'll try to go chronologically about what is happening in my oh so exciting life. Lets see, took Claire to see Dora the Explorer on stage. It was sooooo cute! She got to meet Dora and Benny the Bull and got a prize package full of stuff. She also got the picture she colored (in the contest) printed in the latest issue of Upstate Parenting. She is so proud!
Remember the pain in the butt neighbor I told you about...that was always taking advantage of Bobby to take her places, etc. (notice the past tense). One night a few weeks ago, her 14 year old daughter came over to our house in hysterics with her lip bleeding. Turns out Mom finally decided to try a little discipline and what did she do? Knock her on the ground and smack her in the mouth, busting her lip and letting her brother and sister kick her in the ribs while she was down. Geesh!! We FINALLY got her dad to come get her (he is the one that is living with another woman and has a baby while still being married to this woman). Anyways, Bobby doesn't want anything to do with them anymore. He has not talked to them, basically ignores them. As Gina would say "he is so over it". I mean, I believe you need to discipline your kids but you don't hit them in the face!! Anyways, I'm glad Bobby has finally "seen the light".
Erin was in a play at school. She did really well. She was supposed to be a "preppy all together girl". Told her she must can really act! LOL She did really well.
March 3rd was the two year anniversary of Mitch's death. I went on Friday and took flowers out to Woodruff where he died and then we spent the weekend with his wife and daughter. It was nice....we had a campfire outside.
Last weekend, Claire had two birthday parties to go to...one on Satuday and one on sunday so that keeps you busy. We had open house at our new office. It was really fancy, catered deal. Me and Claire went because she hasn't seen the office. It was all a bit too fancy for me though.
I finally went to the doctor for a checkup. Had to have blood work (probably high cholesterol) and a mammogram (OUCH!!) I think the dread of an actual mammogram is actually worse than the real thing. But I go back on Tuesday for all my results. Maybe she can tell me why I feel so tired all the time. But I have been going to Curves regularly....three days a week. Last measuring time I had lost 9 1/2 inches and 3 pounds. I'm due again to measure in about a week and a half. I swear, working all day, then going to Curves, getting home and taking care of supper, bathing Claire....I'm just worn out by the time I'm done. So please forgive me for not being on. (I'm at work right now...goofing....but gotta get back at it). Oh, and next weekend we got the race in Bristol. Can't wait!
